Quite possibly the most revolutionary product in the Cadaco 74 year history, the Buzztime^® Home Trivia System™ allows you to play the same great restaurant trivia on your home TV! Invite up to 8 friends and family members over to create a Buzztime party in your house!

How the Buzztime^® Home Trivia System™ Works
The Buzztime^® Home Trivia System™ consists of a game console and two remotes. This item alone is all you will need to get started. The console plugs directly into your television's video and audio outlets the same way as a DVD or VCR player. The game console contains 750 official Buzztime questions that are built directly into the game. Additional questions in the form of cartridges can be purchased separately. The two wireless remotes are used to play a two player game. Up to six additional color-coded remotes can be purchased separately for a total of 8 players or teams at one time. All of the wireless remotes transmit a signal to a single receiver located on the console.

Buzztime Console

Game Play The Buzztime Home Trivia System is very similar to the Buzztime game you will find in bars and restaurants on the NTN Network. All players begin by choosing a colored controller and entering a name. The game then moves into the trivia questions. Three rounds of five trivia questions consist of a game.

Big Question Screen: Here the trivia question is shown on the TV screen. All players have roughly 5 seconds to read the question.

Small Question and Hints Screen: On this screen the question will first appear much smaller followed by 5 potential answers. Also on this screen is a timer bar that will begin counting down from 1000. Players in the game may start answering the question now. The quicker you answer, the more points you may receive. Upon answering, you will see a colored icon on the bottom of the screen that corresponds to the color of your controller. This is a prompt to let you know the game has received your answer. A number will be inside this icon as well. This number represents the amount of potential points that you will receive if the answer you chose is correct. After approximately five seconds, the question will disappear and a series of 3 hints will appear. The first two hints serve as negative reinforcement and will eliminate two of the answer choices. The third clue serves as positive reinforcement and will help you answer the question. However, the timer bar is dropping fast and you will receive fewer points the longer you wait. You can always change your answer at any time.

Fun Fact Screen: After each question an extra piece of trivia knowledge called a "fun fact" appears on the screen. Often humorous, the fun fact should generate the "Oh, I never knew that" response.

Leader Board Screen: This screen will reveal everyone's score for the last question as well as the overall score. If you answered the last question correctly, you will receive the point total that was inside the colored icon on the Small Question and Hints Screen. If you answered incorrectly you will receive -200.


Winning the Game At the end of three rounds, the player with the most points will be the winner. His or her name will appear inside a congratulations screen followed by a celebration. Players will then have the option to Continue, Start New Game, or Quit.
Special Features The Buzztime Home Trivia System is unlike other Plug N Play products in the market place today. It contains the following features:
	Expandability: In addition to the 750 built in questions, an expansion slot is also on the unit allowing for booster cartridges in specific categories (Sports, TV, History, and Everything) to be added.

	Wireless Remotes: The Buzztime^® Home Trivia System™ includes 2 wireless remotes. Up to 6 wireless remotes can be added to the unit allowing for 8 players or teams to play at the same time. All 8 remotes work off of a single receiver built into the main unit.

	S-Ram Memory: Buzztime^® Home Trivia System™ saves names and high scores in the game's memory. This feature stimulates competition creating a desire to control the highest total point slot, the same way Buzztime^® Trivia is played in the bars and restaurants.

	Aesthetically Appealing Design: The controllers and console were designed to be aesthetically appealing for comfortable game play and displays well within your home entertainment center.
